Ricin Update

FBI ends investigation

Dööööööörk Nowiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitzki

Dallas, what a beautiful city! In the morning I took the greyhound to Dallas! The city is really nice! I spend 2 hours at the Kennedy museum! The first picture shows me at the place where Kennedy was shot! On the street, you can see a white “X”! This is where Kennedy hit the deadly shot! The red building is the place from where the sniper shot Kennedy (on the right side of the building the second window from the top).

In the evening a dream became true: We went to the Dallas Mavericks NBA game against Philadelphia 76ers. We only had to pay 10 Dollars! The Mavs won the game by 12 with Dirk collecting 32 points! 17 of them in the first quater! Look at the pictures! Awesome!!

Weekend Update

Hi,

since carneval is still going on Austin is still crazy. From day to day 6th street seems to get more packed with people of all age. The night was fun with "Automatisch" trying to act as a German. It somehow worked out pretty well.
After spending the night downtown on Saturday, we left Sunday around noon for San Antonio. We spend the day there, looking at some of the sights and having a nice but cold and breezy dinner at Riverwalk.

Greetings from the smoking guns (UPDATED): click1 and click2

Mardi Gras

You think carneval in Germany is crazy? German craneval is nothing compared to Mardi Gras here in Austin! Mardi Gras started Thursday and said to have its highlight on Fat Tuesday. 6th street was completely packed with hundrets of drunken people! Everybody wears special coloured chains, called beeds! Some of them are really pimpin. Girls start pulling up their shirt and show their boobs whenever someone is throwing a beed over their head! It´s really crazy here in Austin! At 2 o´clock when bars close party goes on outside on 6th street!

Puke Puke Puke

Predrinking started at home while watching a NBA game! We had some Ziegenbock and of course a whiskey and coke! Kofie drove us to 6th street where we started our barhopping night! Again we got some free t-shirts and drinks. We ended the night dancing in Spill before the Ebus took us home. This time the bus really deserved its name cuz the ride was entertaining as hell. Daniel was terrified and more when he saw a guy made use of the puke bag.

Buckets full of beer

Yesturday we started the night at Pluckers where we first had to wait for 40 minutes to get a seat! Enough time for a beer before dinner next door at Cain & Abels. Markus and me had 30 tasty chicken wings.

After the feast we went to Cain and Ables fore more beer. We had had around 11 buckets of beer! We made hardcore drinking! In the end we had to pay for 11 buckets, that means 66 beers! It´s so damn cheap over here: 66 dollars for 66 beers! Incredible…

The evening ended great: There was a big fight inside the bar! It was so funny to see the drunken dudes smacking each other! The whole crowd was cheering! We watched the incident from a safe distance! After a while the dudes were thrown out of the bar by the bouncers!

Rene drove us home, where we had a final beer! He parked the car at the handicapped spot! After killing the final one his car was gone! He called the police: The car was towed! Very expensive! Today I woke up with such a horrible headache! Damn beer!

!Free drinks all night long!

Hi yall!

What an amazing evening! Wow! We started the night with some wiskey and coke, before we headed out to Hooters for some ..... food ;-). We watched Dirk winning the 3 point shoot out at the allstar game while knocking down 50 chicken wings and some Ziegenbock!
Later on at 6th street we saw a concert of the the Heavy Metal Band “Grey Haven” we had met the night before at Maggae Maes. We got a shirt and celebrated with them and their crazy crew! The cameraman paid for us all night long:
Jägermeister, beer… ! Awesome! What a night!

The 3 Smoking Guns

Actually I didn´t want to drink again last night! But everybody knows that it´s impossible not to drink when you´re out with Markus!
First we went to the twins apartment, then we took the E-bus to 6th street! Long island at Library is great! At Maggae Maes we met a huge long haired guy! He really looked like “The Undertaker” from WWF! Crazy guy! He invited us to the release party of his heavy metal band called “Grey Haven” tonight! At 2.30 we took the e-bus back home to Etown! We had a crazy party with a couple of friends there, where we also recorded some German greetings for friends back home. Thanks to the smoking guns ;-)

Superbowl

Yesturday there was the Superbowl in Detroit and I guess whole America was going crazy. Except for a few Germans in Austin. Lucky we had a keg outside on the patio and nice a BBQ to keep us awake, cuz the game was boring as hell. Thus, we focused on Ziegenbock and Burgers. By eleven America was asleep, while the Germans still good to go....

Last weeks

Hi guys,

its getting time for this blog to be updated. The last weeks just flew by like nothing. So what happened. The whole city is still in the rosebowl fever. I have never seen at city freaking out like that. Its really unbelievable. Whatelse, of course 6th street, parties, 6th street ....
Ahm, yes, school started, too. Since this place is so big, you first have to find the buildings and class rooms again, which sometimes isnt quite easy.
One more thing I got a mention in this very brief summery. My roommate was pulled over by the police yesterday and went straight to jail. Guess he has some warrants open or whatever.... So Germany dont freak out, police is pretty strict over here and almost all the guys over here have been to jail at least once. (At least thats what say) And if you ever come over, just ask them about their experiences, especially Hunter has a whole lot of stories ;-)

So cyall later
