Dallas vs. Houston
Hi,
Tuesday Dallas was playing against Houston and of course we had to watch that rivalry. We went to pluckers first and got stuffed on their 40 cent wing night. Jumped quickly into Cain & Abels afterwards to cope the hot sauce with some dollar beers.
Later we watched the Dallas victory in a sports bar downtown. Went to Oslo to visit Brande afterwards. Had a couple of drinks there (thanks) before we had to leave to celebrate Drew's brithday.
I will be off to Houston for the next couple of days. So, happy thanksgiving, cya all next week.
Visiting the velvet rope
Hi, just a short one this time.
The night started watching the Dallas Mavericks win, over at Allen´s apprtment. From there we took the Ebus to go downtown and spent a typical party night on 6th.
Well, almost typical. This time we had to visit Greg in the Velvet Rope. If you ever read this, thanks for the fun night dude.....
To find more about the night, I guess, you best bet would be to ask Allen about the next day ;-)

Getting certified
Hi,
from this weekend on, I am going to be a certified diver. How cool is that! Went to lake Travis on Saturday and Sunday and we did about five dives. It was pretty cool diving around in a real environment, although it is still not comparable to the Great Barrier Reef or whatever. We did 5 dives in total and were lucky that the weather was still 80 degress hot. The lake temperature was something around 70 degrees. The first day, for me was quite frosty cuz the dive shop equiped me with a 3mm wetsuit only. I complained and got an 12 mm one for the second day. What a differenc hui.
Special thanks to Chris, who offered to give me lifts all weekend long.
You always end on 6th street
HI,
yesturday I went to see Ari Fleischer's, former press secretory of G. Bush, talk on Campus. We met with Adam and his roommate. The talk was quiet interesting and you realize from the first second that this guy had talk to the press for his life. He just a fabulous speaker, very pro Iraq war and pro America.
After the talk we went over to the OZI's aparment (and yes Everclear is burning) to have a couple of drinks. Realizing that this day is also a good day to go out (cuz nobody of us , I think, has been out on a wednesday here) we left for downtown. First wanted to go somewhere on 5th or 4th street, however we soon ended up on six.
To lazy to walk we took a "Rikscha" ride to where we started.....
Lucky I dont have 8am classes.
When October ends....
.... November starts, and thats pretty much why we love AUSTIN.
Tell you guys, it is so awesome to get home from school and it still hot enough to jump into the pool right away even in November. The last days it was pretty hot again and we were having record setting 89 degrees one day.
So all I did yesturday, as I came home from university, I grabbed Hunter, we drove to HEB bought some beer (lucky the 24 pack of Miller lite is on sale) and met a bunch of friends at the whirlpool.
AWESOME, sitting there, chilling, drinking and that in November when whole Germany is already freezing.
Prost guys back home in good old germany, be sure we think of you... Prost
